My mother is more Indian than many people I have met: RaGa attacks PM

Bengaluru: Taking umbrage to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s comment what he called as ‘personal attack‘, Congress President Rahul Gandhi said his mother had sacrificed a lot for the country.
Addressing a press conference on the last day of campaigning for 224- member Karnataka Assembly elections, he reacted sharply on Modi’s statement in which the latter called Sonia Gandhi by her Italian name.
“My mother is more Indian than a lot of people I have ever met in the country,” the Congress President said adding “My mother has sacrificed, suffered for this country.”
It is to be mentioned that Karnataka assembly polls will be held on May 12  and the campaign for the elections will end on Thursday at 0500 hours.
