Jhansi: Special CBI court judge Shivpal Singh, who convicted Rashtriya Lok Dal (RJD) president Lalu Prasad Yadav in a fodder scam case, is himself struggling to get his land back.
Singh has his ancestral land in village Shekhpur Khurd of Jalaun district in Uttar Pradesh.
Acting on the issue, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday directed Commissioner Jhansi to submit report at the earliest.
The former Gram Pradhan marked ancestral land under Araji number 15 and 17 instead of Gatta number 13.
Singh’s younger brother Surendra Pal Singh said that they have made repeated requests and complaints but no any action has been taken yet. “Even Shivpal Singh met senior officials but no action has been taken,” he added.
