"Ignoring us in UP may be very dangerous": Congress
New Delhi: The Congress has strongly reacted to the proposed SP-BSP alliance in UP. The party spokesperson Abhishek Manu Singhvi said that ignoring Congress in UP will prove very detrimental for both the parties.
Singhvi also said that under BJP’s rule, there is anarchy prevailing everywhere.
Currently, the motive of all political parties should be to defeat BJP for which all parties need to collaborate to overthrow the authoritarian government. Though he also agreed that Congress has crippled in difficult political situations.
The meeting is held in reference to the alliance of both the parties for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
Singhvi also said that ignoring Congress in UP will prove very harmful for both the parties despite the fact that Congress has fallen on difficult times. He said that Congress has a wide reach and extensive vote share and underestimating it would render no good to the parties and the public will blame them for this.
On BJP chief Amit Shah’s comment of ‘unholy alliances’ , Singhvi said that BJP is scared of these alliances and is worried about its fate in the general elections, that’s why the party chief is making such comments.
