New Delhi: Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav on Sunday reiterated that Ram Gopal Yadav is unauthorised to call party’s National Executive meet as he was sacked from the party for six years.

Mulayam Singh, in a press conference in the national capital, claimed that the January 1 SP convention, called by Ram Gopal Yadav, was unconstitutional.

Clarifying the current status of the Samajwadi Party leadership, Mulayam said, “I am still the National President and Akhilesh Yadav is the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh.”

Stating that he may call another press conference in near future, he said that Shivpal Yadav is still the state president of Samajwadi Party.

Meanwhile, sources had earlier claimed that the internal feud between Samajwadi Party (SP) founder Mulayam Singh Yadav and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav has finally ended.

The UP CM on Sunday morning reached at his father’s official residence in Lucknow. It was said that both father and son had discussed the entire episode and decided to kick out people who are responsible for the split in the SP.

After the meeting, Mulayam Singh Yadav reached at the party headquarters here and said that all is well in the party, said the sources.
