Yogi govt betrayed farmers, youths in the budget: Akhilesh Yadav
Lucknow: Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav, on Thursday, said that Yogi government has betrayed the state’s farmers and youths by the current dispensation of budget.
Akhilesh, during a press conference here, said, “There is nothing for education and health sectors in the budget. This budget has betrayed farmers and unemployed youth. There is no development, no vision in the budget. They used to say ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vishwas’, but they are betraying people as a whole.
State Finance Minister Rajesh Agarwal tabled Rs.4.79 lakh crore 2019-20 budget for Uttar Pradesh in the state assembly on Thursday. It is 12 per cent higher than the previous year’s budget of Rs. 4,28,384.52 crore.
Applauding the SP-BSP alliance, the former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister said, “Since SP-BSP alliance, there has been a steep decline in the graph of BJP.”
When asked about Priyanka Gandhi’s entry into politics, Akhilesh said that more and more people should come into politics. It is a good thing.
