Chief Business Officer of WhatsApp Neeraj Arora quits
New Delhi: After WhatsApp CEO Jan Koum, Neeraj Arora stepped down as the Chief Business Officer of the messaging application.
In a Facebook post, Arora announced his resignation after successfully giving his seven years in the company.
Time flies for sure but not memories. It is hard to believe that it has been seven years since Jan and Brian got me onboard at WhatsApp, and it has been one hell of a ride!”
Neeraj, an IIT Delhi alumni had earlier worked with leaders like Google in India and US as well as Times Internet. He has been on board of Paytm as well.
It is to be mentioned that WhatsApp co founder Brian Acton quit the company in 2017 while the other co founder Jan Koum gave his resignation in April this year.
Recently, WhatsApp announced the appointment of Ezetap co-founder Abhijit Bose as the head of its Indian operations. He is the first ever country head of the Facebook-owned messaging app and he will join the company in early 2019.
