Pujara hits marathon double ton, century for Saha, India 520/6


Earlier, India ended Day 3 at a score of 360/6. Classy Pujara has hit his 11th Test ton and has registered his name as the only batsman to hit century in the maiden Test of four venues- Indore, Rajkot, Vizag and Ranchi. Apart from the Saurashtra cricketer, Headley, Hendren, Steve Waugh, Tendulkar, Kallis, Chanderpaul and Katich are the other who have done the same on three venues.

Patt Cummins was the leading wicket taker from Australia’s side with bowling figures of 4/59.

Earlier on Day 2, Kangaroos posted 451 runs in the lights of Steven Smith (178) and Glenn Maxwell’s (107) brilliance.
