Mumbai: Kickass Torrents, world’s biggest website to serve the piracy content, will go live again and will be run by its original staffers.
The website, however, is uploading slow due to heavy rush of traffic.
According to a TorrentFreak report, the website will boast all its old content on a new domain as the older URL was seized after the arrest of its alleged founder Artem Vaulin in August.
A forum with the URL katcr.co was launched by the Kickass Torrent crew after Vaulin’s arrest and had hinted about the relaunch of the website.
TorrentFreak quoted KATcr crew as saying, “We have all our major uploaders on board and they continued to share tirelessly even before the torrent engines returned. The torrent community can continue to expect to see uploads from all the names they know and trust.”
Kickass Torrents, however, has cleared this time that it won’t store copyrighted material on the website.
