Gurugram: Popular online shopping website Snapdeal on Thursday launched ‘Cash at Doorstep’ service under which they will provide money up to Rs 2,000 to their application users at their home.
The Snapdeal app uses your location data and determines if there is cash available at any of your nearby locations at the moment. Soon, you will receive a push notification as well as an SMS redirecting you to the order page.
The next day after placing the order, one of the Snapdeal logistic executives will arrive at your doorstep with a POS machine. You can swipe your card and get cash up to Rs 2,000.
The online shopping website charges just Re 1 for the ‘Cash at Doorstep’ service, which can be paid through FreeCharge or debit card.
The Cash at Doorstep service, that does not require the user to buy anything else from the website, is currently available in parts of Gurgaon (now Gurugram) and Bengaluru.
Well, this is a great move by Snapdeal which is beneficial for the users who are facing cash crunch due to demonetisation.
