New Delhi: Here is an opportunity for the ones who want to serve the nation at Sea. The Indian Navy has invited as many as 105 applications from eligible candidates for the post of Apprenticeship Training.

Candidates interested, in various trades, may apply for the post within 30 days from the date of publication.

Here are the details:

Post: Apprenticeship Training;  Number: 105

Trades:  Machinist, Pipe Fitter Mechanic Diesel, Fitter, Mechanic Ref AC, Electronics Mechanic, Electrician, Welder, Painter, Carpenter, Tailor, Sheet Metal Worker, Mechanic Machine Tool Maintenance, Mechanic Motor Vehicle, Instrument Mechanic, COPA, Building Maintenance Technician.

Educational Qualification: Matriculation or 10th class examination from a recognized board with 50% marks and ITI in relevant trade with 65% marks (approved by SCVT/NCVT) are a must.

Pay scale: Rs. 8,320-9,360/- per month.

How to apply?

Register yourself at the apprenticeship portal of the Indian Navy.

After registration, prepare an application in white paper mentioning all the details and send it along with a print of the online registration form and copies of other relevant documents. It should be posted to ‘The Officer-in-Charge, Dockyard Apprentice School, NSRY, Naval Base PO, Karwar, Karnataka-581308’ within 30 days from the date of advertisement.

No application fee is being charged.

Selection process:

The candidates will be selected on the basis of written test.

Age Limit:  Minimum age– 14 years and Maximum– 21 years as on April 1, 2018 (Age Relaxation: SC/ST-05 years, OBC-03 years)
