त्रिपुरा चुनाव : माणिक के गढ़ धनपुर को भेदेंगी महिला उम्मीदवार !
नई दिल्ली : त्रिपुरा विधानसभा चुनाव-2018 इस दफा सत्तारूढ़ माकपा, भाजपा और कांग्रेस के लिए काफी अहमियत भरे होने जा रहे हैं। यूं तो हर सीट तीनों मुख्य पार्टियों के लिए अहम है, लेकिन इनमें से एक सीट ऐसी है, जहां माकपा को शिकस्त देना इन दोनों मुख्य पार्टियों के लिए टेढ़ी खीर साबित हो सकता है।
त्रिपुरा विधानसभा सीट संख्या-23 धनपुर। त्रिपुरा का एक छोटा सा अर्ध-शहरी केंद्र, जो राजधानी अगरतला से 65 किलोमीटर पश्चिम में स्थित है। बांग्लादेश के सिपाझला जिले की सीमा से सटे धनपुर निर्वाचन क्षेत्र में इस दफा कुल 43,728 मतदाता अपने वोट की चोट करेंगे।
धनपुर विधानसभा क्षेत्र में कुल महिला मतदाताओं की संख्या 20,974 है, तो वहीं 22,754 पुरुष मतदाता अपने विधायक को चुनने के लिए वोट करते दिखाई देंगे। धनपुर क्षेत्र का इतिहास है कि यहां 1972 में हुए पहले विधानसभा चुनाव से लेकर अब तक माकपा कभी हारी नहीं है। 1972 से 1993 तक लगातार पांच विधानसभा चुनाव माकपा नेता समर चौधरी ने जीते थे और इस क्षेत्र को माकपा के सबसे मजबूत किलों में स्थापित कर दिया था।

इसके अलावा माकपा नेताओं ने इस सीट पर हर बार कांग्रेस को एकतरफा मात दी। 1998 में माकपा ने समर चौधरी की जगह माणिक सरकार को टिकट दिया। उम्मीदवार के बदलने से यहां की जनता ने अपना मन नहीं बदला और आलम यह है कि उसके बाद लगातार चार चुनावों में माणिक सरकार ने इस सीट पर भारी मतों से जीत दर्ज की।
सत्तारूढ़ माकपा ने धनपुर विधानसभा क्षेत्र से एक बार फिर अपने वर्तमान मुख्यमंत्री माणिक सरकार को खड़ा किया है। माणिक सरकार पिछले 20 साल से राज्य के मुख्यमंत्री है और लगातार पांचवीं बार धनपुर से नामांकन दाखिल कर चुके हैं।
माकपा के कद्दावर नेताओं में से एक माणिक सरकार को उनकी साफ सुथरी छवि और देश के सबसे गरीब मुख्यमंत्री के रूप में जाना जाता है। उन्होंने 29 जनवरी को विधानसभा चुनाव के लिए अपने हलफनामा दाखिल किया, जिसमें उन्होंने अपनी निजी जानकारियां दी जिसमें दिखाया गया कि उनके पास महज 1520 रुपये नकद हैं, बैंक खाते में 20 जनवरी तक 2410 रुपये दिखाए।
माणिक सरकार त्रिपुरा के मुख्यमंत्री होने के साथ ही माकपा पोलित ब्यूरो के सदस्य भी हैं।
वहीं भाजपा ने त्रिपुरा राज्य इकाई की महासचिव प्रतिमा भौमिक को माणिक सरकार के खिलाफ मैदान में उतारा है। भौमिक इससे पहले 1998 और 2003 में सरकार के खिलाफ चुनाव लड़ चुकी है और उन्हें दोनों बार तीसरे स्थान से संतोष करना पड़ा था। भाजपा ने भौैमिक पर दांव आजमाकर इस चुनाव को महिला बनाम पुरुष कर दिया है।
चुनावों के मद्देनजर और पूर्वोत्तर राज्यों में अपनी उपस्थिति दर्ज कराने में जुटी भाजपा ने त्रिपुरा के लिए खास 'चलो पलटाई' (बदलाव लाते हैं) का नारा दिया है। प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी और केंद्रीय मंत्री स्मृति ईरानी ने धनपुर में चुनावी रैलियों के दौरान इस नारे का बखूबी प्रचार किया है।
वहीं पूर्वोत्तर में अपनी जमीन तलाशने में जुटी कांग्रेस ने इस सीट से लक्ष्मी नाग (बर्मन) को चुनाव मैदान में उतारा है। कांग्रेस ने इन चुनावों में तीन महिलाओं को टिकट दिया है, जिसमें से एक लक्ष्मंी हैं। लक्ष्मी पूर्व कांग्रेस सरकार में मंत्री रह चुकी है और राज्य इकाई पर अपनी पकड़ रखती हैं।
इसके अलावा तृणमूल कांग्रेस ने जहीर उद्दीन को इस बहुचर्चित सीट से मैदान में उतारा है।
धनपुर विधानसभा पर राज्य के मुख्यमंत्री की दावेदारी के बीच कांग्रेस और भाजपा ने महिला उम्मीदवार पर दांव आजमाया है। देखना दिलचस्प रहेगा कि माणिक सरकार के इस अभेद किले में ये दोनों पार्टियां सेंध लगाने में कहां तक सफल हो पाती हैं। राज्य में जहां एक तरफ पिछले 25 सालों से सत्ता पर काबिज माकपा है, तो वहीं जीत के रथ पर सवार भाजपा भी मैदान में ताल ठोक रही है। वहीं कांग्रेस इस चुनाव के जरिए अपने सिमटते अस्तित्व को बचाने में जुटी है।
चुनावों में माकपा ने 57 सीटों पर अपने उम्मीदवार घोषित किए हैं तो वहीं भाजपा ने 51 सीटों पर अपने उम्मीदवार खड़े किए हैं। कांग्रेस ने सभी 60 सीटों पर अपने उम्मीदवार मैदान में उतारे हैं।
60 सदस्यीय विधानसभा के लिए मतदान 18 फरवरी को होगा और तीन फरवरी को मतों की गणना की जाएगी।
