IPL 2018 Player Retention Live: Check which team retained whom

Lucknow: As the first step towards setting up the stage for the 11th season of much-awaited cricketing extravaganza Indian Premier League (IPL 2018), the teams have started to announce the list of retained players.

The Indian run-machine Virat Kohli is the only cricketer to be retained by an IPL franchise for an amount greater than the set by the IPL (Rs 15 crore). Kohli will charge Rs 17 crore from Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) for IPL 2018.

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) stunned everyone by ignoring West Indies batsman Chris Gayle to retain Sarfaraz Khan. The other surprise was Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) not retaining gautam Gambhir who has led the franchise to two title victories in the past.

Delhi Daredevils (DD) has not retained South African wicket-keeper-batsman Quinton de Kock, while Mumbai Indians (MI) have dropped Kieron Pollard, Lendl Simmons and Jos Buttler for now.

Sunrisers Hyderabad has also left out flamboyant Indian opener Shikhar Dhawan and has kept its faith intact in Aussie opener David Warner.

Kings XI Punjab seems to be in mood to reconstruct their team as they have left out players like Glenn Maxwell, David Miller, Hashim Amla, Shaun Marsh and George Bailey, and have only retained Axar Patel.

Rajasthan Royals, which already did not have many big names, has only retained Aussie skipper Steven Smith.

Here we are mentioning which team has retained whom for the all new eleventh season of the razzamatazz tournament:
