For this, he converted his piece of land into a reservoir; converted it into a pond and started raising Oyster in it. Within a very short span of time, Santosh started meeting his financial needs and also helped people around him in becoming financially strong.

He soon became a role model for farmers in his area and several people started following his foot steps. Not only people in Uttar Pradesh, but several people in other states including Madhya Pradesh and Bihar were inspired to execute his way of water conservation techniques and petting fish and Oyster in ponds.

It takes 16 months to become a pearl from Oyster and a single pearl costs from Rs 300 to thousands. Rain water preservation helps in other farming needs and simultaneously, it also helps in fishery and oyster raising.
